Having spent a substantial part of my after college years managing a construction company, I bring a unique perspective, for my clients, to the process of looking at homes. I use the motto: If I wouldn't sell it to my daughter, I won't try to sell it to you. That has served me well during my career.
My proudest moment came when a client was asked by a close friend if she would recommend me to work them as a Realtor. The clients reply was, "I would trust him with my children"
I weigh every decision I make in a Real Estate transaction to ensure I am thinking of the best interest of the buyer or seller client.
Why I'm an Agent
I promised myself when I got out of college that I would no longer work a job if were not fun and challenging. So when I decided my last job of 23 years was no longer fun, I had to make a change. I initially resisted my wife and friends advice to go into Real Estate. My response was, "everyone sells real estate". Eventually they convinced me to give Real Estate sales a try. Even though the business of real estate was 180 degrees from what I had been doing, I decided it would be something new and challenging.
What has kept me in this business is the close interaction I have with people and their families as they go through the process of a major life decision. I get to know they very well and help them in the process in so many ways. I find it to be a rewarding feeling to know I have been a part of this portion of their lives. I am still excited when I get a call from a past client who is asking for advice, or information on the process of finding a new home and selling their current home. That confidence means the world to me and I do not take the responsibility lightly. There is nothing like the feeling of watching their faces when we close on a home and they know they have realized a dream of a first or a new home. And I know I have been an important part of it all.
