Stark Company Realtors' rental and short-term housing assistance program is designed to assist individuals and families relocating to South Central Wisconsin, as well as the companies that employ them.

This assistance can reduce corporate relocation expenses and enhance the entire relocation experience, fostering a smooth transition for newcomers to our community.

Basic services are available on a complimentary basis, while other, more in-depth services are provided for a fee.

Complimentary Services

Stark’s Relocation Division offers complimentary (no fee) guidance to individuals and families seeking rental or short-term housing in the area. Services include the following:

  • In-depth phone consultation
  • An electronic community guide (Metro eGuide) providing information on area schools, cultural events, recreational activities, maps and much more. This information is carefully selected and categorized to address the particular needs and interests of the individual or family
  • Children’s relocation packet when appropriate
  • Current copies of rental home advertising (e.g., Start Renting or Marketplace Rentals)
  • Rental guides providing information such as costs, office hours, parking arrangements and pet regulations for representative rental housing in various locations throughout the area
  • Assistance in arranging for hotel reservations and pickup at the airport if desired
  • A rental overview and tenant resources to help ease the transition into a new area
  • Access to the Relocation Hotline at 800-779-4037

FEE-BASED SERVICES

Clients may choose additional services provided through our fee-based program. Charges are based on actual time spent on appointments. The fee is $75 per hour (not to exceed $350 for the first day or $150 for each day thereafter). The fee-based program is designed for those who desire more active support as they come into the community. Services include the following:

  • A community orientation tour
  • Pre-scheduling of appointments to view available housing fitting the specific needs of the new hire or transferee. (Please allow at least two business days notice to schedule the itinerary, due to 24-hour notice requirements and available office hours)
  • Accompanied tour to view available apartments/homes
  • Accommodation of special interests
  • Access to Stark Essentials, Your Move-In Connection. With one phone call, this service can arrange for utility connections, phone services, cable TV, newspaper delivery, house painters, movers, and a host of other services that may be needed
  • A Stark relocation expert is be available to the new resident as a resource after the move

100% REFUND OF PROGRAM FEES CREDITED ON HOME PURCHASE

Fees charged for Rental Assistance Program will be credited at time of closing on a home purchased through Stark Company Realtors if home is purchased within six months of expiration of the lease and purchase is coordinated through our Relocation Division.
