When I gave up my "regular" job with a pension and benefits to pursue my dreams and something I love. And I have absolutely no regrets years later!
Why I'm an Agent
Many reasons! But the main ones would be: 1. I love the work (looking at houses for a living is fun!). 2. I believe that it's one of the most expensive and therefore stressful transactions someone will have in their lifetime. I like to be there with knowledge and experience to help them get to their happy ending.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.A. in Sociology, I decided to stick around Madison. I've now been here for 15 years and call it home.
Real estate is fun and fascinating. I enjoy working with buyers to find the place they'll call home and helping sellers move on to the next chapter in their life, whatever that may be. It can sometimes be a difficult journey, and that's where I come in to smooth out the path.
Being in real estate is not about selling properties. I believe that if a real estate agent does their job correctly, properties will sell themselves. It's all about matching people with the right home. My goal is for everyone to love their home and for my clients to love their experience.
When I'm not glued to my phone or laptop helping clients, I'm likely with my husband and two dogs, either in the backyard or at the dog park. Or let's be honest, on a lazy Saturday afternoon, watching a movie.
