Why I'm an Agent
I love helping and working with people. My biggest fulfillment is getting people and families from the life theydream of obtaining and turning that into reality. There is nothing more satisfying then seeing the smiles and joy of a client when they find THEIR home.
I grew up in Wisconsin on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. It’s easy to develop a fascination with unique buildings in my hometown, Racine, where homes and businesses by architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and other notables are scattered throughout. Thus, my love for real estate started in these formative years.
Growing up and in high school I was a four season athlete in addition to being the drummer of a rock band. I credit those experiences with instilling a strong individual and communal work ethic, team dedication, and perseverance which I now apply to my career. I graduated from William Horlick High School and choosing to remain close to family, I attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee to study Sociology over the next few years.
I moved to Madison, our beautiful state capitol, to pursue new experiences personally and professionally in 2011. Before starting at Stark in 2015, many knew me from my role as Wine Cellar Manager and Sommelier at Madison’s premier restaurant, L’Etoile. The leadership there promoted excellence and sustainability by sourcing local food and investing in our community. I was a proud part of their team as our service ethic resulted in national recognition in several lines of service including the wine program from the lauded James Beard Foundation.
My early interest in real estate coupled with my desire to help others in a hospitable manner has brought me to venerable Stark Company Realtors. Stark conveys an image I believe in and live by: family, community, and sustainability with over 100 years as a family owned business here in Madison – it was an easy decision to work here. I believe my time studying Sociology and performing business sales has fine-tuned my attention to understanding people, not only listening to what they ask for but educating them on how to close in on a more perfect match. In working with me, you can expect a proactive full-time Realtor dedicated to his clients, an aggressive negotiator, timely responses to your inquiries in all forms of communication, and most importantly an honest advisor. I often tell my clients when I first meet them that I only work with people I want to work with and I would expect the same from them. This should be a fun experience and what you get with me is who I am as a person. I pride myself in my honesty, integrity, and the proactive manner in which I run my business. These practices and skills have resulted in me being acknowledged at the Stark Company’s 2016 All Staff Meeting as the “Best of the Best” for agents with up to 2 years in the company and making the same list for the entire company.
When not working I enjoy staying fit, golfing, spending time with family and friends, attending Wisconsin sporting events, traveling, experiencing new restaurants, working with my investment properties, and volunteering in a community garden to feed needy families. In August 2015 I completed my first triathlon – a goal I had for several years. I would like to take on your challenge next. Allow me to compete for you to find the home of your dreams!
"My home buying experience with Patrick started in early September, 2015. I was going from open house to open house looking for my ideal home when I met Patrick one Saturday morning. Talking to Patrick I felt very comfortable discussing what I was looking for in a house. He was very approachable and related very well to what I was hoping to find and what really impressed me was that he was actually hearing what I was saying, not just going thru the motions. Being my first home purchase I was quite nervous about the whole thing and I wasn’t sure where to start and how to go about the whole process. This is where I appreciated Patrick’s expertise very much. He patiently answered the many questions I had and was always ready with advice when I needed it. It didn’t take long for me to build a level of confidence and trust with Patrick to the point where I felt absolutely sure he had my best interests at heart. "We worked with Patrick to sell our condo on the west side of Madison. I don’t think he could have made it any easier. He came drove all the way out to our house in Mt. Horeb to go over all the papers and financial details. He met with me several times at his office and was always available via email (even on his vacation!). He answered all our questions and was very patient and helpful. He was very good working with our difficult renter! He sold our condo in 12 days! We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor experience! We will definitely be using him to buy our next house."

"Patrick helped me find a home in the spring of 2016 in Spring Green, WI. As a first time home buyer, Patrick guided, advised, and met my needs and requirements regarding all things real estate. Even though he was not familiar with the houses near my area, Patrick did his research and found a suitable home for a young professional such as myself. Patrick was willing to drive one hour from his office to meet me in Spring Green to look at houses to meet my own schedule. Patrick was very relatable as well and made me feel comfortable in putting my trust in him to help me through the process. After looking at a couple of homes, Patrick made sure that he did not impose his ideas and opinions on myself before I had reached my own conclusions. Once I have narrowed down my choices, Patrick asked me a series of questions that made me reflect on my own more on what I wanted/needed for my future investment. "Patrick and I met under unusual circumstances, but i'm glad we did. It was my first time shopping for a place to call my own, and I was not quite sure what I was looking for. Once Patrick and I met up to tour some homes, he explained very thoroughly, how much of a price impact location was. Also, had adequate knowledge on small things that make a difference: basement remodels will give you the least amount of return on a resale, competitive pricing and closing/contingency dates for real estate when I was debating on how much to offer, and noticing the small upgrades that make a difference when viewing similar properties in the same neighborhood. The over-all buying experience sailed smoothly when it came to Patrick and I, we were always on the same page, and he was very responsive and patient. A guy you can trust."
