Dozens of local breweries (not to mention wineries, cideries, and distilleries) are part of the Madison On Tap Craft Beverage Trail. Here are some favorites to check out:

• Giant Jones Brewing - 931 East Main St, Madison, WI 53703
  Specializing in high-ABV beer styles, Giant Jones Brewing is a woman-owned, certified organic brewery that makes some of Madison's most unique brews. Styles like double IPA, barley wine, and Belgian-style dubbel really make this independent brewery shine.   One of the longest-running breweries in the Madison area, Capital Brewery has been going strong for over 35 years. Located near many Middleton homes for sale, Capital Brewery is known for its flagship Capital Amber and also has several popular IPAs on their lineup. They're also known for their outdoor beer garden, open from April to October, which frequently hosts live music and other events.

  Fantastic brews and a community mindset make Working Draft Beer Company one of Madison's most popular breweries. Located in the heart of Madison's hip Williamson-Marquette neighborhood, Working Draft keeps an ever-changing selection of new and exciting beers on tap in their tasting room, along with four packs of 16-ounce cans. There is always a huge selection of beer styles to choose from, and usually at least one gluten-free option, so those with gluten sensitivities can enjoy a drink as well!
