Fireworks are a long-standing Independence Day tradition, and there are some amazing fireworks displays happening right here in the Madison area! Here are a few of the awesome shows happening this week.

  • 7/3 - DeForest Fourth of July - S Stevenson St, DeForest, WI 53532
    Head to Fireman's Park for the DeForest Fourth of July celebrations July 3 and 4 for games, activity booths, all-day live music and entertainment, a food court and beer garden. A spectacular fireworks display will take place around dusk on July 3. The park closes at 12:30 that night, and a free Safe Ride Program is provided. Stop back in on the 4th for another day of family-friendly fun and games, and make sure to check out these DeForest homes for sale while you're in the area!

  • 7/3 - Festival Fireworks at the Madison Mallards - 2920 N Sherman Ave, Madison, WI 53704
    It's hard to think of a better pairing on a warm summer night than baseball and a fireworks show. That's what you'll get in Madison on July 3 this year. Following the Madison Mallards' home game against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, the sky above the field will be lit up by a colorful fireworks display courtesy of Festival Foods. The game and fireworks show take place at the Duck Pond, the home field of Madison's beloved team in Warner Park on the northeast side of the city.

  • 7/4 - Shorewood Hills Fourth of July - 3606 Blackhawk Dr, Madison, WI 53705
    Located in the Shorewood Hills neighborhood west of downtown Madison, the Blackhawk Country Club is once again hosting its annual 4th of July festivities. Spanning the entire day, starting with an early morning triathlon and softball game, Shorewood Hills Fourth of July continues throughout the day of the 4th with an art fair, parade, games and a family picnic. A fireworks display will cap off the event at around 9:30 pm.

  • 7/4 - Monona Community Festival - 1055 Nichols Rd, Monona, WI 53716
    The annual Monona Community Festival returns to Monona's Winnequah Park for what could be its final year on July 3-4. Both days of the festival feature a schedule packed with games, carnival rides, food trucks, beer and wine tastings, and live entertainment. The icing on the cake is a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:20 pm on the night of the 4th near Monona homes for sale. The park is just on the other side of Lake Monona from Madison, so you can also see the fireworks across the water from the Madison side!

  • 7/3 - Verona & Festival Foods Fireworks - 531 E Verona Ave, Verona, WI 53593
    The city of Verona and Festival Foods Fireworks will present an awe-inspiring display of fireworks on the evening of July 3. Taking place at Hometown USA Festival Park, roughly 20 minutes southwest of Madison, the first-ever City of Verona & Festival Food Fireworks show gets underway at 9:30 and lasts for a full half-hour near Verona homes for sale.

  • 7/4 - Waunakee WaunaBoom - 213 Dorn Dr, Waunakee, WI 53597
    The village of Waunakee has one of the best Independence Day celebrations around. Their annual WaunaBoom festival returns on July 4 this year, promising a full day of fun. In addition to the fireworks, which take place at 9:45, WaunaBoom includes games, a petting zoo, pony rides, live music, carnival rides, plenty of food and drink, and an F-15 flyover at 2:15 pm. All of this is taking place conveniently close to Waunakee homes for sale.
